| The story
of Hanabi is about Nakazawa
Harumi who searches for the mysterious red flower
from her past, the symbol of the last happy days spent
with her parents, before they passed away when she was
a child. To fulfill her dreams, Harumi becomes a Horticulture
student, assisting the famous Dr.
Emi Stratsbury, in hopes that she will gain clues
to the whereabouts of her elusive flower. Along the way,
Harumi meets Takahashi
Akira, a total opposite in personality and social
stature and angry sparks fly at each encounter as they
fight against the prejudices they have for each other.
After losing her parents,
Harumi fears to love again and she hides her growing
feelings for Akira, afraid of the pain of rejection
that she might feel. Akira, on the other hand, has never
experienced love before and is disturbed by the chaotic
feelings that Harumi causes in him. He tries to stifle
the passion and jealousy with his mean and cold attitude
and tries to avoid her at every moment. Despite his
efforts, he is uncontrollably drawn to her, just as
she is always seeking him out.
Close friends try to bring them together, whilst enemies
in love seek to pull them apart, resulting in a whirlwind
of drama, misunderstandings, and conflict. Will fate
intervene and bring them together? Or will society and
others who seek their affections tear them apart? Check
